The sale and redevelopment
of Stradey Park is desperately needed to finance
the ambitious plans that we have for our new stadium
development at Pemberton which will offer our
players, members, supporters and the community
in Carmarthenshire a world-class sporting and
leisure facility.
The harsh reality is that without the sale of
Stradey Park, the Scarlets' rugby region will
cease to exist.
The new 13,500-seater stadium will support the
development of a modern competitive rugby region,
generating more commercial revenue and bringing
new social and economic benefit to Llanelli and
Carmarthenshire as a whole.
Our meticulous report has already been approved
by Carmarthenshire County Council's planning committee.
The future of rugby in Wales depends upon the
Welsh Assembly Government approving our plans.

by supporting our plans. |
